The regulated services segment includes the regulated sale of electricity, distribution and transmission services to its eight electric utility operating companies in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The regulated services segment also designs, constructs, operates and maintains the group's regulated transmission and distribution systems. The competitive services segment includes the subsidiaries that operate unregulated energy and energy-related business. The group's electric utility operating companies are Ohio edison company, Pennsylvania power company, the cleveland electric illuminating company and toledo edison company.
